Today, we celebrate a major milestone: Adtrac is six years old!
Looking back, the road has been anything but predictable. What began as a bold idea to fix the inefficiencies of media sales has evolved into a global SaaS solution connecting screens, data, and advertisers across three continents.
Adtrac was founded with a clear vision: to become the "ebookers" of screen advertising time. We started in 2020 as a booking platform designed to end the era of manual spreadsheets and email-based campaign management.
However, the world had other plans. Almost immediately after our launch, the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped the global landscape. We faced lockdowns, economic downturns, and the geopolitical instability of a war in Ukraine. Yet, these challenges became the catalyst for our most critical evolution.
We listened to the market and our customers' requests and pivoted. We shifted from a public marketplace to a pure SaaS solution, empowering retailers and media owners to run their own private marketplaces,. This pivot allowed us to focus on our core strengths: advanced automation, predictive planning, and data science, without interfering with our customers' hardware or revenue streams.
Today, Adtrac is no longer just a Swiss startup. We are connected on three continents, with a footprint that extends from the DACH region to the Middle East, and resale agreements reaching as far as Mexico.

We are proud that our platform now manages to combine everything from simple loops to complex, sensor-based "Smart Targeting" campaigns. By automating logistics and buying decisions, we allow our clients to focus on what matters most: their customers and their growth.
As we look to the future, we are more ambitious than ever. We believe the future of advertising lies in the physical world, powered by digital precision. We are keen to learn what comes next and are preparing for 2026 to be a year of massive scale.
Our goal remains unchanged: to provide the "operating system" for the out-of-home industry. We will continue to help our partners leverage their assets, automate their operations, and turn their screens into sustainable revenue generators.
